Airport Transfers and Ground Transportation

Airport to Manhattan

As New York City is serviced by three major airports, you have a number of options available to you depending upon arrival time.

John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK)

LaGuardia International Airport (LGA)

Newark Liberty Airport (EWR)

*—It is recommended that should you take this option, you purchase a 7-day unlimited ride MetroCard for $24 at that time. This will allow you to travel on any subway or bus as often as you want for a 7 day period. It will make traveling to and from work much easier.

Ground Transportation in New York City

Bus and Subway

New York City has one of the world’s largest and most affordable public transportation systems.

A single ride on a bus or subway will cost $2.00, however, there are other, more affordable options at your disposal. We recommend purchasing a 7-day Unlimited Ride MetroCard for $24 available at any manned subway booth or touch screen kiosk.

The unlimited ride card means exactly that—you can take as many rides as you want during a 7 day period on either bus or subway. It’s a great value for those who plan to do sightseeing before or after the competition (not to mention those of you who plan to hit the bars!).

The Famous Yellow Taxi Cab

One of the most recognizable symbols of New York City is the yellow cab. After a night out on the town, you might not be willing to wait for a bus or train back to your hotel and want to hop into one of the ever present cabs for a ride home. Just remember, if the taxi cab’s medallion number on the car’s roof isn’t lit, then it’s not available!

If you want to ensure a time to be picked up and go in a comfortable and not TOO expensive ride, I ride these black cadillac rides. Fares vary.
